Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo (1000ml)

I bought this shampoo and conditioner as an absolute last resort to try and restore some life to my dry/coarse/damaged hair after it enduring years of abuse through colours and heat. I did my research and decided to try Pureology. I've never been one to look too much into ingredients of things, but I soon realised that normal shampoo has the same chemical that cleans floors! No wonder no high street shampoo/conditioner was helping restore my locks!!! I knew then that I needed to invest in something completely different if I was to stand any chance of repairing my hair. The shampoo arrived and I was so eager to use it. I followed the instructions and repeated the wash twice and dried my hair. A lot of people mention a strong smell which I didn't experience. Granted it doesn't smell like high street shampoo, and has an earthy aroma but nothing offensive. To be honest I was glad it actually smelt natural and not packed full of chemicals/scents! I definitely noticed a difference. It felt so clean it was unbelievable. It was also very soft! And that was with JUST the shampoo. I then decided to order the conditioner and I put them both to the test to be even more impressed. The conditioner made my hair feel like silk and it has a noticeable shine/softness to it. Using this combination has enabled me to go to work throughout the week with unstraightened hair to aid it's recovery, which is something I've never been able to do since I'd started colouring my hair. I don't wash twice with the shampoo anymore, but I actually only need to wash my hair every few days as it doesn't get greasy anymore. It is quite cost effective for me as it is true you only need a small pea sized amount each time. Obviously, nothing is going to transform your hair overnight but I would recommend if you are as desperate as I was then it's worth a try! Do I think it's worth it? Absolutely!
