Great mascara

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

As I'm getting older and my eyelashes aren't what they use to be!!! I'm having to spend more on makeup. I've done a lot of research and this mascara although more expensive than high street brands is well worth the money. It enhances my ayelashes and never cakes. It comes off without repeated rubbing. If you want great looking lashes this mascara is definitely worth the money.

Disappointed

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

Saw this is on the tv saying it was a fantastic mascara with real curling results. Wouldn’t normally pay this much for a mascara but thought I’d give it a try. Hasn’t curled my lashes at all and it’s very dry. Ten minutes after curling my lashes then applying the mascara there’s no curl left at all. Very disappointed, wish I’d saved my money and stuck to my much cheaper alternative (push up angel).

My Go To Purple Mascara

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Coloured eyeliner/mascara is a signature look of mine, and I have high expectations of such products, especially because as a woman of colour brightly hued makeup can often fail to show up on my skin at all. This mascara was definitely on the pricier side, which might put some off, but for me it was well worth the money. The wand might take some getting used to because it curves and has different bristle lengths across the sides, but in fact I prefer this type of silicone material over regular brushes because it helps grab and coat the hairs better for people with shorter lashes like me. The formula is nice and wet on application and coats the lashes thoroughly, but dries quite quickly so you have to work relatively fast with it. The purple colour shows up well, although to amp up the colour on my black lashes I like to apply a white lash primer prior. The first day I wore this mascara my housemate complimented me, saying that she'd never seen my lashes look so curled and noticeable before (my lashes are stick straight so not usually very visible). Although not labelled as water resistant, the staying power on this mascara is very commendable and even holds its own against some of my other 100% waterproof mascaras. Definitely recommend if you have some extra cash to splurge!

New mascara

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Saw this advertised and thought I would give it a try. Brush is curved with bristles on the underside to apply mascara and there are fine combs at either side to separate lashes. Took me a while to get used to but does work well. Good coverage and coats lashes well. Not sure it made my lashes much longer or thicker than others I have tried. Think it's fine but probably prefer Dior overall.

Easy to apply, stays on well. Doesn’t transfer.
