The Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum is a nightly treatment designed to replenish the look of skin tone and texture, while minimising the risk of redness.
A cocktail of microencapsulated retinol combined with natural retinol alternatives, arophira and bakuchiol, works to promote skin cell renewal. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a smooth and plump complexion.
Suitable for sensitive skin types and first-time retinol users, the gentle serum is packed with antioxidants to support a calm complexion.
Smooth 2 pumps into clean, almost-dry skin. Let it sink in for one minute before your next skincare product. Apply to face, neck and chest. Be careful when applying to eye area to avoid getting product in eyes. Use every PM after cleansing, alone or between lighter serums and moisturiser. Advised to wear sunscreen daily when using this product.

Haven't been using it for long enough to tell for sure how effective it is, but points for being gentle to skin. Having read so many scary tales about skin's reactions to retinol, I'm at least happy that my skin didn't react badly to it. I'm 34, oily skin, first experience with retinol. Not long ago I decided to incorporate acids and retinol into my skin care routine to fight an uneven skin texture and visible pores. Well, have been using this serum 2/weekly and the acids mask of the same brand once weekly, and can tell that my face looks a bit better. Not really noticeable improvement, but I think with retinol just more time is needed.
