Great serum for oily skin
This Versed Just Breathe Clarifying Serum is such a tiny but mighty ally of mine in my fight against acne and acne marks. It has a light texture, slightly oily feeling when applied but sinks into my skin so quickly. It is packed with acne fighting ingredients like willow bark extract, salicylic acid, zinc gluconate, panthenol and citric acid that really helps tackle any new acne. Forth bottle and still loving it!
It’s taken years but I have finally found some skincare that I absolutely love because it actually works. This does exactly what it says - it helps to keep your skin clear, fight current breakouts and give you an overall better complexion. All without leaving that horrible sticky feeling, clogging pores or weighing down your skin. I’ve been using it months now and my skin has never looked better - I really mean this. My boyfriend literally said, ‘You’re face this looks clearer somehow.’ All you need is two - three drops and you can apply it in different ways. At first I patted it on my face after toner but before moisturiser, but when I decided to try using the new Benefit skincare range I ended up loving that just as much as this (plus the Versed retinol cream), so I combined the ranges. I now mix a couple of drops in to my Benefit moisturiser (once a day, usually in my morning skincare routine) because without this I definitely found my skin was breaking out more. This helps keep most breakouts at bay, but allows the Benefit products to get in to my skin and work. If I do happen to have breakouts or find blackheads creeping up on me, I do then pat some of the serum directly in to my skin (after the Benefit toner but before moisturiser). For reference, I add the Versed retinol cream in to the Benefit moisturiser once a day as well (usually at night so it can work overnight). Doing all this has made it easier for me to keep up with my skin routine. Before it felt too complicated and tedious, but now it’s a few simple steps to healthy skin!
