Amazingly, the formula for this shade seems even lighter and more hydrating than other shades I've tried; it's a rosy, subtle, everyday red that dries down almost to a lip stain that you can create a wonderful blurred edge look with, but which still gives winter lips a great splash of colour. I find that although liquid lipstick is easier to apply it can dry out my lips quite quickly - not with this one! I wore it for a full day and didn't get dehydrated lips at all!
