Trending as 'the pink serum', The Ordinary's Soothing and Barrier Support Serum is a multi-active solution developed for sensitive skin and those prone to redness.
Providing an immediate 86%* boost in skin hydration, the serum is enriched with sugar-based humectants to lock in moisture and nourish the skin barrier. Vitamin B12 gives the serum its signature pink hue while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture levels. Bisabolol and gallic acid derivatives combine to visibly soothe the skin and reduce the appearance of redness.
The serum should be implemented into your prep, treat and seal regimen as step treat. It is recommended to apply after other similar water-based serums but before oils and creams.

Lovely glow to skin

Good with other hydrating products
Recieved for free in return for a review. Started to see a difference once I began using the product alongside my usual serums - it has reduced redness and will continue using for now. Using on its own with a moisturiser didn't do much for me/my skin felt quite dry compared to usual, but I do normally use a lot of hydrating products so removing those will have had an impact, and adding those back seemed to boost this product's effectiveness.

I received this free to try and to leave a review. I’m not sure if this is doing anything for my skin in honesty it doesn’t seem any different and I have now been using for around 3 weeks morning and night. One thing I have noticed is that if I have any dry skin once I apply this over my serum the dry skin appears and feels gone so there is that. I’m on the fence as to whether I would buy again but I imagine when I run out I might see if it had been doing anything.
