Excellent hair growth
As I really rate The Ordinary I thought I’d try the hair serum on a balding patch on my hair line. I’ve been very conscious of this patch for several years. I put the serum only along my hair line and after a couple of months new fine hair began to grow and I am DELIGHTED! Although the new hair is fine it’s filled in the balding patch and I’m now more confident in how my fringe looks. It no longer gaps in that area. After I’ve rubbed the serum into my hairline I gently go over my eyelashes and they too are longer and darker. This is my second bottle and I now use it several times a week, not every say now that the hair growth has established.

Shiny roots!
I’ve been using this serum for about 6 weeks now & use it 4-5 times a week before bed. I think if you take into account how slowly hair grows this is a product you’re going to have to be patient with to give it a fair review & those that dismiss it after two weeks don’t really get that this is about hair health from the follicle & not a cosmetic miracle product. I’m not expecting to see any results regarding hair growth for a few more months. However I have to say my root area is looking the shiniest it has in years & the amount of hair I’m shedding has massively reduced. I periodically shed loads & think it’s often linked to stress, I've not really worried too much about it before but now I’m hoping with this serum & given time I might look forward to a lot more hair volume. Excellent value for money & I’ll buy again once my bottle is empty (although it’s currently lasting really well!). I love The Ordinary, fantastic products & amazing value.

It might be very early to review, but I think this is great considering the ingredients and the value is quite cheap. I am a male with a long time fighting with male pattern hairloss with Propecia and Hair vitamins. In the past I used Minoxidil, but did nothing for me except giving me dark circles and Seborrheic Dermatitis. I have been looking for a topical treatment to add my arsenal and I recently bought this product. The thing I liked most about this product is that it does not include alcohol and does not give any heavy/oily feeling in the head. Easy to use, great ingredients and not expensive. Simply amazing.

Reduced fallout
Bought this to try if it could work on reducing hair fall out and it did quite dramatically. For full transparency, I used this in conjunction with hair vitamins. Regarding hair density could not notice anything in this regard. The only downside is that I wish it came in a bigger size because the product, if used everyday, goes down quickly.
