Brighten and refine your complexion with The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10%, a solution that provides superficial dermal peeling gentler than other Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs).
With a larger molecular weight than other AHAs (152.1 daltons compared to Glycolic Acid's 76.0 daltons), Mandelic Acid penetrates slower into skin, which provides a gentler experience and makes it suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. Helping to brighten and unify, the formula will promote a fresh and refined-looking complexion.
Free from alcohol, oil, silicones, nuts and gluten.
Not tested on animals. Cruelty free and vegan.
Apply once per day, ideally in the PM. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.
This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Having suffered from dull and dry for as long as I could remember, I decided to give this product a try and I can honestly say that I've been blown away. Having used it every evening for a week alongside the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 in the mornings and my skin looks and feels the best that it ever has. I’ve just started using this , 3 times a week and honestly it’s a really gentle exfoliate . When I wake up I realise my skin appears less dull and my acne minimised . This is a really gentle defoliator so it is really good for POC and people with sensitive skin .

So I have hormonal acne, but sometimes I get some from wearing a mask and touching my face. I have to say I started using this with doubts because I dont have much experience with chemical exfoliants, and I had a bad experience with the red one from the same brand. It was too strong for me so I purchased this one because I heard it's very gentle. AND it was true! Very suitable for sensitive skin and leaves it very soft and feeling clean and I noticed I'm getting less pimples :) I use it every night before bed, and this is aready my second purchase. I also feel like my dark spots after acne are getting less visible although I dont see any change in my pores or blackheads. This product also doesnt sting when I use it after popping my pimples. I very much recommend.

WORTH EVERY PENNY! (AND IT'S NOT EVEN EXPENSIVE)
I have a TON of sebaceous filaments and blackheads on my nose. I wanted to remove them using AHA but whenever I used the ordinary 7% glycolic toner, I only got pimples. I tried this coz a derma in yt recommended it as a good 10% AHA for people with sensitive skin. And hoh boy- I put this on at night thenwhen I woke up the next day, a bunch of gunk had risen of my skin (esp nose area). And somehow, extracting those gunk was also very easy (how easy? well i kinda used a sterilized brow tweezer to try and pull them out- and it came out easily- shhh don't tell the dermas). After using it for weeks, my skin now has visibly lesser gunk and texture. I even use this on my body now. This is definitely a must buy.

I don't use this product on my face. I use it on my neck and decolletage. Before, that area was very dry and peely. I tried so many products to hydrate that area when I thought I would use a light acid to exfoliate and them moisturise. It has been month now and my skin is smooth and doesn't have flakes of skin ready to fall. I know this product isn't meant for that but I recommend it for anyone who is in a similar situation as I was. I'm not a dermatologist but it really helped and was very gentle. I used 3-4 drops on the whole area.
