Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion.
The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture. The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to soothe sensitive skin, while hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

Great concept
It's an ingredient found in most creams, however I like the idea that it is a serum and can be used when needed with your favorite moisturizer. My recommendation is to dilute it with something first as it may be too strong on your skin especially if you have sensitive skin

Early days to tell
I'm using this product for about 3 weeks now. I do retinol 3 nights and this one on the fourth night so it's early to speak about results. I can say that you need to be careful with the dosage and not using more than 4 drops, otherwise you'll feel the discomfort. Also important to use a moisturiser or facial oil afterwards as it feels extremely dry otherwise.

A bit strong for me.
I’m in my 40s so my skin is changing and I’m have to relearn everything. This product I found just too strong from my skin, even with trying to build up a tolerance. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the product, but maybe not as suitable for more mature skin or at least my mature skin.
