Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion.
The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture. The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to soothe sensitive skin, while hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

The 10% Lactic Acid + 2% HA has been fantastic on my skin. My skin type is mixed with some enlarged pores around the nose area. This product really has helped me keep those pores clean and tighten. This gives a nice glow on my face. It has also helped me with some fine lines on my forehead, however note I’m in my mid/late 20s. I have reordered this product multiple times and will continue using it regularly. I would usually apply it after washing my face with cleanser, at night. I use the 10% Lactic Acid every other night, and always apply SPF during the day. I love this product
