I am a huge fan of the ordinary but also sometimes just do not have the time for layering of multiple actives and waiting for them to dry before applying the next. I like this a lot as it targets wrinkles, smooths skin texture, and I find it works well with my moistures to add hydration. All in all a really great price and performance for an anti aging serum.

Good for dry skin
I use this product alongside the "Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5" serum and this has completely cleared the dry skin I get on my forehead, nose and cheeks! However, I recommend only applying to the forehead and cheeks then moving any remaining products on the fingers onto the nose and chin as I personally feel that those areas feel too sticky if too much product is applied so be careful if you have any oily patches. Even my family says my skin is glowing and my Mum wants to order some herself!

So I didn't understand why everyone was raving about this product so much. I mean, I've used loads of serums before, and they were nice and all, but that's it. Now this product...at first it gave me a few weird spots, like when you get clogged pores? But I persevered, because I read some reviews where people said you needed to use this for a week or so before seeing benefits. Well, guess what. Eventually, after a few days, all the hive-like spots disappeared and now my skin looks so much better than before! It looks moisturized and calm and happy!

I usually love my premium skincare products (I am an older lady and in desperate of younger skin), but during lockdown decided to try a cheaper alternative. I use this at night after taking off my make-up. After a long day it feels like my skin is having a drink. It is almost blissful! Dries slightly sticky, but I apply the HA moisturiser over the top and it's all good. No discernable smell. Definitely a thumbs up... I am working my way through the other Ordinary products now! Overhyped, causes breakouts
I’m in my early twenties and have a few fine lines on my forehead, and as it’s recommended to start these kinds of products at this age and this product in particular had such a hype around it, I decided to give it a go - and seriously wish I hadn’t. After just 2 uses it’s given me small spots across my cheeks, and painful, under-the-skin acne across my chin, jaw, and neck. This was the only new thing in my skincare routine, and the acne popped up so quickly, it’s obviously this serum that caused it. The serum itself has a slight (somewhat odd) fragrance but that dissipates quickly, and is a very liquid consistency so it sunk in quickly. It left a slightly tacky residue after application but for me that only lasted a few minutes. Despite my sensitive skin, this didn’t give me any redness or stinging, however it did give me a horrible breakout that I’m now left trying to fix, after just 2 uses. All in all, not a good product at all.
