Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. Arriving as a rich facial oil, the vitamin packed solution is both potent and effective, whilst being kind to skin. The concentrated formula blends Vitamin C with Vitamin F in order to deliver essential fatty acids, as well as visibly brightening skin tone and reducing signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
Expect bright skin that is comfortably hydrated and radiant.
Apply a few drops to the entire face in the AM and/or PM.

So far out of all the Vit C serums I have tried this is definitely my favourite. Alas with using Tretinoin my skin will not tolerate L’ascorbic acid type vitamin C as well. So out of the derivatives I was looking for a potent but gentle on my skin version. This is it! This has a slightly oily like texture, when I say oily, it is very light and sinks into my dry skin so well. However if you have oily skin, you may not find this suitable. I find this serum helps with my skin tone, texture and fine lines. Plus I hope it helps my skin combat the every day aggressions put upon it, including helping my SPF. In order to try mix it up and up my skin care game, I sometimes, when my skin is behaving, mix this with a little of The Ordinary Ethylated 15% vit c and they both seem to work well without irritating my skin. For the price, I have not found ingredients wise and potency that is better.

Have been using this serum for a few weeks in the morning. I keep it in the fridge and apply it before using my guasha. It feels lovely. I love the smell of it, it’s not too strong as other vitamin c serums I’ve tried. It’s also not so oily as the other brands. One more the ordinary product that became a favourite.

I have fair skin so the contrast between dark circles under my eyes and redness on my cheeks is quite noticeable, and this made a really marked difference within 1-2 uses. It’s not a complete cure, so don’t expect actual magic! But it’s close enough and well worth a buy as it’s super cheap compared to other brands. Would defo recommend

Excellent product
I love and adore this serum. It's non irritating and just glides on the skin. I've noticed my face is more bright and has less sun damage with regular use. It's a bit more pricey for The Ordinary, but absolutely worth it.

A little 2x a day for long-term results
I really like this product and have bought my second bottle already. I use this both morning and evening with either a retinol or acid and it doesn't irritate. I know that this isn't pure vitamin c but the ester seems to be more gentle and good for long term use. This is an oil based serum so can take awhile to sink in but I feel after I put on my moisturizer the oily feeling goes away.
