The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is designed to lend your skin the hydration it deserves. Squalane – a saturated and stable hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin – is believed to have a very high emollience, making the solution an effective hydrator.
Suitable for all skin types, the formula works to leave complexions looking soft and supple. What’s more, it can even be applied to hair to support heat protection, add shine and minimise the potential risk of breakage.
Apply a few drops daily or as needed to entire face ideally after water-based treatments.

Not for oily skin
This product is good if you have dry skin; my skin type is acne prone and oily, the product did break me out with small bumps. Even though I knew it’s an oil and oils can be tricky on acne prone skin, it clogs your pores and my face felt very congested. As soon as I took this out my skin routine my skin went back to normal.

Beautiful
This product is amazing in every way I have been using this pretty much since it’s launch and I am totally in love with it, it make my skin so soft, supple and hydrated. It’s suitable for my very sensitive skin and eye area too it’s no irritation whatsoever. The Ordinary have changed my skin with their products- the prices mean to me that everyone can have great skincare, absolutely phenomenal ♥️
