The Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane is designed to lend your skin the hydration it deserves. Squalane – a saturated and stable hydrocarbon found naturally in the skin – is believed to have a very high emollience, making the solution an effective hydrator.
Suitable for all skin types, the formula works to leave complexions looking soft and supple. What’s more, it can even be applied to hair to support heat protection, add shine and minimise the potential risk of breakage.
Apply a few drops daily or as needed to entire face ideally after water-based treatments.

an absolute favorite
my all time favorite oil- i have extremely sensitive skin that reacts to any kind of fragrance and essential oils which makes looking for moisturisers super hard (seeing as the vast majority of the moisturisers marketed as 'fragrance free' have sensitizing essential oils in them). i've been using this for a couple of months now to combat pretty intense eczema on my face and hands and have had more success using this in combination with HA and niacinamide than i've had with anything else i've used. well worth a try, i really like it !

Great product, really hydrating. Definitely only need a small amount and found it’s better to put the droplets onto my fingertips and massage it in. Can take a while to sink into the skin and definitely has an ‘oily’ feel but great for dry winter skin. Can pill a little when used with other products.

Perfection
Hands down my favourite skincare product ever. I have gone through bottles of this and I’m so glad my younger self randomly bought this a few years ago. I have dry to v dry skin in winter and I use this right after eye cream and before moisturiser. Only need a few drops on my fingers, warm it up and press on to my face and neck - no rubbing. I get an instant glow which also keeps me hydrated! On good skin days it’s enough alone rather than piling on moisturiser too! In the past I’ve even patted a drop on to my cheeks at the end of my makeup to keep me hydrated on top (probably a big no no but my fellow dry skin gals will understand!) Also have to mention that the ethics of this company make me feel even better buying from them.

I liked the squalane. I have dry skin and need constant hydration to avoid skin tightness. Squalane helps me a lot with this, making my skin hydrated, soft and radiant! It can be overwhelming for people with oily skin. I recommend this product!

I bought the squalene yo see if it would help me with my dry skin on my legs and arms. It does, it really helps and my skin feels so much softrr with out sll the bumps. I apply it on its own and let it dry then apply my urea moisturiser from la roche posay
