This does remove makeup as a first cleanse but this is hardly a balm as its too waxy. I will use it up but will not repurchase. Not good if your skin is sensitive to heavy oils.

Not the best
Has a lovely smell (like lemon meringue), and a creamy texture. However doesn't smooth over skin as easily as other cleansing balms. Also doesn't remove waterproof mascara. Considering other products on the market at a similar price point do remove waterproof mascara, I won't be purchasing again.

A great cleanser
I first tried this product as an alternative to a more expensive brand and can honestly say I have no regrets. The product doesn’t have the same luxurious smell as the other brand but it removes makeup just the same. I use this as the first step for a daily double cleanse and have been really pleased with the product.

Who needs big named brands
I’ve had the more expensive cleansing balms and there is no difference between them and this one. It gives a good cleanse and face feels really smooth. I’d say this is infact better as the fragrance is not too over powering like others.

Lovely soft texture
I have previously used the Elemis cleansing balm but was looking for a more affordable alternative. The revolution cleansing balm has such a lovely soft texture when on the skin and washes off beautifully. While it may not look as aesthetically pleasing in the pot, it does the job just as well.
