Applied to damp mid-lengths and ends, the innovative heat-protecting formula enriches stressed tresses with a powerful blend of plant proteins and Tourmaline to seal the hair fibres and visibly reduce the appearance of split ends by 70%. Play safe and blow-dry, straighten, curl and crimp without causing harm to your luscious locks.
Step 1: Prep hair by washing with Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner.
Step 2: Apply a dime-sized amount of product to damp hair, concentrating on fragile or damaged mid-lengths and ends. Leave in. Do not rinse.
Step 3: Heat style hair as usual. Extreme Play Safe will protect hair from heat damage up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have bleach blonde fine and wavy hair and found this too heavy . I can’t speak to how well it protects as I only used it once . I’m sure if your hair can handle weight it would be good . I just prefer volume with light textures .
