A pre-treatment duo suitable for all hair types and textures, Redken’s Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Pre-Treat Bundle helps to visibly smooth the hair cuticle, promote stronger-looking hair and lock in your colour for longer.
The 5-minute, rinse-off, intensive pre-shampoo treatment is powered by 14% Bonding Care Complex with citric acid. It targets weakened bonds to help minimise the look of breakage caused by colour and chemical treatments, heat styling and environmental factors. The first step in Redken’s Bonding Concentrate routine, the pH-balanced formula leaves hair visibly stronger, smoother and glossier after every wash.

- Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Pre-Treat 2 x 150ml
- Application: Use as a pre-shampoo treatment. Apply to damp hair and leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.
- Routine: Apply Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo to wet hair; lather and rinse. Follow with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner then rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

Pre-treatment was a faff
The 3 bottles are a faff and not clearly labelled so it's not clear which is which (small print). Pre-treatment instructions not clear on where to apply - just 'to damp hair'...to all hair including roots? just ends? and didn't say how long to leave in for: 'some minutes'. Probably too inconvenient to use as part of hair routine.

Worth the extra time
This is a 3 step routine but so worth it for the results. Lovely smell and texture and made me feel like I had treatment at a Salon. This will be part of my routine from now on.

Absolutely great
My hair has been bleached resultubg in broken and dry damaged hair which feels more brittle when being washed This product helped strengthen the split ends and make manageable and soft when wet.

Redken treatment
After using the treatment a few times, my hair does seem to have less broken ends and texture feels different. Only a very small amount is required, unlike normal shampoo and conditioner. Only downside, i usually only wash my hair twice a week but need to wash more after using this treatment as my hair seemed to be left greasy. Would use again when hair is feeling dull/dry, but not to use often.
