The 5-minute, rinse-off, intensive pre-shampoo treatment is powered by 14% Bonding Care Complex with citric acid. It targets weakened bonds to help minimise the look of breakage caused by colour and chemical treatments, heat styling and environmental factors. The first step in Redken’s Bonding Concentrate routine, the pH-balanced formula leaves hair visibly stronger, smoother and glossier after every wash.

- Acidic Bonding Concentrate Intensive Pre-Treat 2 x 150ml
- Application: Use as a pre-shampoo treatment. Apply to damp hair and leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.
- Routine: Apply Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo to wet hair; lather and rinse. Follow with Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner then rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

Wow this stuff works!!
I've not used shampoo on my hair for years as it always left it drier and harder to manage . Not anymore! This pretreatment ( you apply before you shampoo) is amazing! I've tried so many products on my coarse, thick, curly hair to make it smooth and frizz free but nothing has ever really worked. This does! I use the entire Redken range for my hair and it's never been so soft, frizz free and manageable even after shampooing. If you have damaged dry hair - or any hair! Buy this, and all the other Redken range- I promise it works wonders!

Quick treatment
I liked that it didn't take too long to wait for the treatment to do its work. I found the instructions weren't clear - I wasn't sure whether I had to work it through all of my hair, so concentrated most of it on the ends and then midlengths. The consistency made it a little tricky to work it through but it wasn't too bad. The instructions also didn't make it clear whether it needed to be washed out before shampooing (which is what I would normally do after a pre- treatment). Other than those small things, I found it helped improve the look and feel of my parched, coloured hair.
