Brilliant

Huge disappointment
I couldn't wait to get this sponge and was expecting quite a lot based on the reviews. It breaks after first wash (second day). I was not able to wash it completely, there was still some make-up in the middle and because I wanted to be gentle I did not rub it. Anyways it start breaking more and more with every wash on all parts. Total waste of money. I'm back with my previous routine - using brush.

NICE STUFF
i love this sponge!! i've never have tried a sponge to apply my foudation but since i first use this, i became a real fa (i'm a combination skin type, a bit more dry). blend amazing and leave your skin felling soft, unlike brushes that can make your skin feels a little bit stretched.. it a good value for the money that cost!!

Sponge is good. I expected heavier coverage - the coverage is more sheer compared to application with my fingers but is more flaweless. The big problem is that after one single use the sponge started to fall apart - a small hole appeared. I contacted customer service and I was sent new one. I wonder if this will happen again.

Awesomeness in a sponge
The 3-in-1 multi-functional makeup sponge by Real Techniques is the best sponge ever invented!!! Ladies I am telling you for years I have been a brush kinda gal but having tried the Real Techniques sponge I have been converted - I cannot stop using it!!!! In a nutshell the rounded side blends larger areas of the face. The precision tip covers blemishes/imperfections and the flat edge aids coverage for contouring around the eyes and the nose, leaving you with a complexion that's smooth, enhanced and gorgeous! No joke ladies it gives a flawless and full coverage. Sponge can be used dry however if dampened a little it gives better result and foundation spread evenly and blends better as well as making it go further. I also love the bright orange colour, very soft to the touch and has a fine texture. I love it and cannot do with you.

Pretty amazing
I've alway been a bit skeptical about sponges, they're not very hygienic or easy to clean they also have the added problem of soaking up too much product. However the pre soaking does mean less product is sucked up although you are still using more than ypu would if you had used a brush it gives a really smooth light application that is barely visible. The flatter end is much easier to use in comparison to the usual beauty blenders that need bouncing across the face. Watching the real techniques youtube how to video also helps you get the most out of your sponge, well wlrth the money
