Originally formulated for the US Olympic synchronized swim team, the cult classic is a favourite amongst professionals; it delivers maximum protection against discolouration and dryness associated with chlorinated or salt water, and sun exposure. Infused with sunscreen, the safeguarding formula intensely hydrates whilst helping to prevent colour fading on colour-treated hair. Hair looks healthy and radiant, and blonde hair is protected against turning green.
Apply in sections to damp hair and comb through. Leave on hair to guard against effects of sun and water whilst sunbathing and swimming. To remove, rinse then use appropriate Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner and scalp toner.

I bought this to take on holiday and so glad I did, it really protects hair when swimming. You do need to double shampoo afterwards to get all of the product out but hair feels soft and conditioned and my colour appeared protected too. You do need to use a lot though to cover longer hair so a tube doesn’t last long.

I really like this product. I bought this as I have recently started swimming and I hate how my hair feels after being in the pool. This product coats the hair and acts as a barrier. You have to double cleanse when you wash your hair after but I notice the difference from the times I use it and the times I don't. I have recommended this to other ladies I swim with as my hair does feel conditioned after. The only con is the size of the product. You have to use a bit to coat every piece of your hair so the bottle could be slightly larger for the price.
