Originally formulated for the US Olympic synchronized swim team, the cult classic is a favourite amongst professionals; it delivers maximum protection against discolouration and dryness associated with chlorinated or salt water, and sun exposure. Infused with sunscreen, the safeguarding formula intensely hydrates whilst helping to prevent colour fading on colour-treated hair. Hair looks healthy and radiant, and blonde hair is protected against turning green.
Apply in sections to damp hair and comb through. Leave on hair to guard against effects of sun and water whilst sunbathing and swimming. To remove, rinse then use appropriate Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner and scalp toner.

I bought this to use in water parks on holiday and it’s brilliant. It stayed put despite my hair getting drenched with chlorinated water. I double shampooed to rinse it all out and my hair was SO soft afterwards; it didn’t feel sun or water-damaged at all. (For info, I have fine, mid-length naturally blonde hair. I used a generous amount and I still have loads of product left in the tube after two uses)

No noticeable difference
I usually soak my hair and apply conditioner before swimming but thought I’d give this a go as my coloured hair fades so quickly from swimming. I didn’t see a noticeable change in colour protection or the condition of my hair from using this product, but then I needed so much of it to cover my hair it didn’t last very long. Due to the price I’m unlikely to repurchase.
