Philip Kingsley’s Overnight Scalp Barrier Serum with Triple Balancing Action is formulated to nourish the scalp’s natural barrier. The fast-absorbing formula is applied as drops to sections of the scalp, working to lock in moisture and minimise excess oil.
Powered by a Triple Balancing Action alongside aloe vera and AHA’s, the serum gently exfoliates and clarifies, while delivering a soothing sensation. The scalp serum is designed to be used overnight while you sleep and is suitable for all scalp types.

- When to Use: In the evening, the day before you wash your hair.
- Recommended Amount: 2-3 drops per section.
- Application: Fill the pipette by pressing down on the top of the dropper. To dispense, gently press again. Apply directly to the scalp in 4-5 sections, using 2-3 drops per section. Massage over your scalp gently. A soothing sensation can be expected. Do not rinse. Upon waking, wash and style as usual. For best results, repeat every evening.

Really worth a try
I was hesitant using this product as I have fine hair and thought that it would leave a greasy film after shampooing the next morning. My scalp has been dry and irritated for as long as I can remember, but this reduction has been a god send. I applied a few drops to my scalp and the serum soaked in pretty fast, and not left greasy. After washing my hair the next morning and was amazed how my scalp felt, my scalp felt lovely, hydrated and really healthy. I will be definitely be repurchasing this serum once the huge bottle is empty and would highly recommend to anyone with a dry and irritated scalp.

I was interested in using this product as I suffer with a dry, itchy scalp and hoped it could help improve the condition of my scalp. My hair is curly, so I tend to wash it twice a week. The night before the day I was due to wash my hair, I applied the product to my scalp. I followed the instructions- it felt nice, a pleasant sensation on my scalp. I massaged it all over, went to bed and washed my hair as normal the next day. I didn’t notice any difference to my hair condition - it wasn’t greasy, just dry as normal. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks and my scalp does feel better, it has definitely not been as itchy, the condition of my scalp has improved. Normally, when the weather is hot, my itchy scalp gets worse - I often make myself bleed, scratching, however, the last few hot days have been fine. My scalp is definitely not as itchy. I do like this product, I will carry on using it but probably only when my scalp is really itchy. It will not become part of my hair washing routine (hence the 4 stars!)
