Not as wow as hoped
Hair type- fine, thick, wavy hair - long hair. That I blow dry and then straighten (which does frizz if left to its own devices product free in humidity.) I have used the elasticiser previously and this a great product that’s the 3 stars ⭐️ Improves condition of hair, shine, volume and moisture content. Unfortunately I bought into the hype of the PK shampoo & conditioner. Thinking maybe it might be even better than what I’m currently using. This whilst made my hair more voluminous, it frizzed and curled up within half an hour of styling - doubled in size ! even with ghd’s ! It also made my hair get very greasy and felt heavy that it needed to be washed in 2 days - (my hair never gets greasy Even if I leave it up to a week without washing it). So unfortunately not for me- neither is the PK prep Heat protector or the finishing serum. ( the finish serum feels sticky gel-like even with half a pea size used) The shampoo and conditioner I’ll just have to wash my make up brushes in, to that I’ve not completely wasted my money. Least it was a trial size. I’ve gone back to my kerastase products - nutritive magistral, as well as colorwow. My hair is thanking me for it.

Lovely for trying out!
These packages make it so easy to try out a few of Philip Kingsley's products for a reasonable price, which is great. I have had these products for over a month, and I still have use left for at least one more week. The shampoo is fantastic. At first it was a little difficult for me to really get my hair clean, since this doesn't really foam up. It takes a little practice with spreading it out evenly on your scalp. After you've managed this, you will be left with hair that has much more volume and texture! The conditioner is the only product is was less impressed by. It doesn't really suit my dry and frizzy hair. At least, not enough. It is really light-weight, which is a good thing. Perhaps if I would have used it with the shampoo of the same line, it would have worked, but with the volume shampoo, I definitely needed a little more moisture. The Elasticizer is absolutely my favourite out of the bunch, and has become one of my favourite products of all time. It leaves my hair manageble, shiny, and moisturized. I noticed the effect immediately when I put on my hair the first time. You could put this on about 15 minutes before washing; I personally like to leave it overnight. Make sure to really wet your hair though. This is definitely worth the hype.

Worth it!
I've tried so many brands on my frizzy, dry hair over the years (I'm in my 60's) and some of have been pretty good. The Philip Kingsley brand, however, is a cut above the rest. Your hair will love it. Yes, it is expensive, but with the great deals Look Fantastic offers (not to mention great service) I have found it actually costs me less than other brands I have purchased over the years. Also, you only need to use the tiniest amount of get great results so products will last a long time. I have a problem with build-up on my hair with a lot of products, causing me to have switch up with something else (annoying). I have been using P.Kingsley for over a month (along with the frothing mousse) and have not had a problem at all. My hair loves this stuff. It took me my whole life to find the perfect brand for my hair but I think this is it. Shipping to the States took just under 2 weeks, so I was happy with that as well. Can't beat the prices/free shipping anywhere else that I know of. I just finished placing another order so I won't run out!
