Suitable for colour treated hair.
Begin with Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo, followed by the appropriate Philip Kingsley Conditioner. Lightly towel dry hair and apply to scalp from the nozzle in 1'' (3cm) sections. Distribute with fingertips. Do not rinse. Comb through and style. Reapply as often as required.

Didn’t help me
Having experienced an itchy scalp without dandruff for some time and altered all shampoos conditioner and foods but still suffer thought I would try this product . It is cooling on my scalp however itch returns within 30mins . I really believe it’s a yeast in food problem and having been gluten free dairy free for a long time reckon it may be yeast in gf pork sausages I eat regularly on my paleo diet !! So this may help others who may have overdosed with yeast which is in alcohol cakes biscuits etc etc !! Will keep eliminating and hopefully find the culprit!!

I have quite dry skin, and noticed in the winter that I had an itchy and dry scalp too. I had flakes of dry skin around my hairline, but it didn’t seem to be dandruff as the skin on the scalp in these areas looked dry and inflammed. I changed shampoos, and bought a scalp scrub from another brand but nothing seemed to work and I was becoming increasingly self conscious. I came across the Flaky Itchy Scalp Tonic when I was browsing, and thought I’d give it a try! Within one treatment, my scalp wasn’t itchy anymore (as it often became itchy immediately after cleaning and in the days following), and two treatments later, I had no dry patches on my hairline. It’s a very liquid product (same consistency as water) which can be a pickle to use, so I give it a shake and just ‘draw’ it on my scalp in 1-2 inch sections whilst it’s still wet after washing. I then give it a quick rub and it’s done! It doesn’t affect your hair at all when you style it (which I was worried about) and it actually, truly works. I wouldn’t be without it now!

I have a very itchy scalp, but no dandruff. I use this product regularly, and it does give immediate relief. But does not cure the problem. I have found that Philip Kingsley No Scent No Colour shampoo and conditioner does help, especially if I wash my hair daily, and brush it well. I have tried their plain scalp toner and found it not as effective as this one. If anyone has any other advice, it would be much appreciated. I have highlighted, very fine grey hair. So I am concerned about products being colour-safe.
