A pre-shampoo treatment scented with a refreshing mango and hibiscus scent, Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer Therapies helps to nourish, hydrate and soften. Suitable for colour-treated hair, the award-winning formula delivers an intense boost of moisture to the hair, while helping to leave strands feeling thicker.
The treatment features hydrolyzed elastin, working to minimise the risk of breakage. Castor oil and olive oil unite to help condition and encourage a shiny appearance. Encourage bouncy, silky-soft lengths with this multi-purpose treatment. 100% recyclable.
- When to Use: Apply before shampooing.
- Application: Dampen your hair with water and liberally apply Elasticizer in sections to your mid-lengths and ends. Cover your hair with a shower cap or a towel. Leave for a minimum of 20 minutes. There’s no maximum time, you can sleep with it on.
- Routine: Rinse thoroughly then shampoo and condition as normal (those with fine hair should shampoo twice).
- Please Note: Do not use Elasticizer 72 hours before or after dying your hair, as it may affect how the colour takes during this period only.

Great product with a summery scent
I'm a fan of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. I had the travel size a few times in different calendars/boxes and also splashed out on the larger size in the standard scent. The product is really effective, has improved the condition of my hair and the larger pump size lasts for months. At first I found using a pre-shampoo a bit faffy but got used to wetting hair with the shower head pre-shower then combing through the product and scooping up hair in a hair wrap. I'd leave it on for at least 10 minutes though usually longer as I'd get on with doing other stuff and forget about it. Finally get on with having the shower I'd meant to have an hour earlier :) so not a problem if I'm not rushing out. This time the larger pump was not available and this special edition was discounted so it was worth a try. It's the usual product with the mango and hibiscus scent, which is pleasant and like many summery products. A bit odd to have in January but a reminder of summer! I'd prefer the non-scented version, but the scent isn't too strong and it's washed out. I'd get this again if cheaper than the standard version, if both were the same price I'd get the standard.
