IMPORTANT: Those allergic to aspirin (acetylsalicylate) should not use products containing salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid).
- Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning.
- Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids).
- Do not rinse.
- For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 25 or greater.
BHA Advice:
To reduce skin flaking or possible irritation, some first-time users should use the BHA once a day or once every other day (preferably at night) for the first few weeks. After prolonged use (4-6 weeks), you can apply the BHA more frequently, and eventually it can be used twice a day. For some people it may only be necessary to use the BHA once a day or once every other day. The frequency of use for this BHA product completely depends on how your skin reacts so you may have to experiment until you find what works best for you. If redness, dryness, or irritation occurs, adjust frequency of application.

This has helped to change my skin!
I have combination skin - a little oily on the nose and a slightly oily chin, but normal elsewhere. I've had spots my ENTIRE life, several a week, worse with my period. If I went a week with no spots, it was rare. I also have 4 or 5 stubborn deep pores on my nose. I've been using this BHA for over a year now in conjunction with a whole new Paula's Choice skincare routine - cleanser, toner, this exfoliater, serum, eyecream, moisturiser (with spf). This BHA requires some practice to use it effectively. A little goes a long way. I tip a few drops, maybe 10 or less, onto a flat cotton pad and wipe over my entire face, after cleansing and toning. It does take a while to sink in/dry but you'll know if you've put on too much - it can be a little greasy/oily feeling. It reminds me very much of vinegar, it has that same acidic smell, but it's not unpleasant. I initially got this to try to remove the pores on my nose, which look darker although do not have blackheads in them. They have reduced in size a little since using this, however more incredibly, my skin is soooo smooth now, and I DON'T GET SPOTS!!! I have had 5 spots in a year since using the BHA. I love it for that fact alone. My skin is better at 40 than it has ever been and I've just repurchased another bottle, even better now I've discovered the considerable difference in price from Look Fantastic compared to Paula's website (and all the awesome discount codes online). It loses a star purely because my pores have not gone totally from my nose, and I feel I should have seen more of an improvement on them. Only BHAs can exfoliate inside the pore and are oil soluble, so can reduce pore size, therefore reducing oil production, which should have meant MY pores got a lot smaller than they have.

It changed my skin very rapidly, made it much more even in texture and colour. I am now alternating it with tretinoin cream 0.5%. If this gets to much for my skin I will stick with just Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, as it is a better product for my skin.

Face lifting, Pore reducing, but OVERMOISTURISE!
Been using this for a few weeks and can already see a massive difference in my skin. (Using in line with an Asian Skincare Routine) It actually has given me a face-lifting Botox type effect, skin feels very taut. Has also reduced the visibility of my pores! My skin tone also looks brighter and more even. That said, it's a MUST to flush your face with moisture, as this is an acid treatment! Use a hydraulic even! (You may notice peeling of the old skin cells perhaps near the nose area) also to ease un comfortability of the tightness. It applies slightly oily but is absorbed. Definitely see this becoming a staple. Buy the big bottle if you already have salicylic acid in your routine. I'd advise not to stop using if you break out a little at first, as this happened to me for first few days but I strongly believe in skin-training and the effects after several weeks usage is WORTH a couple breakouts as your skin gets used to it. I have Combination-Dry skin.

Transformed my skin
This has made my pores tiny and has really helped with my acne prone skin. The only thing I would say that it has had a drying effect on my skin so I do find that I now need to layer my skin with good moisturises for dry skin.
