A purifying hair cleanser, OUAI’s Detox Shampoo is gentle on the scalp but tough on debris, oil and product build-up, from hard water deposits and styling products like dry shampoos and sculpting waxes.
Refreshing the scalp, roots and lengths without stripping, drying or fading out your colour, the shampoo utilises the acidity of an apple cider vinegar to improve lustre and soothe itchy scalps. Hydrolysed keratin helps strengthen vulnerable bonds in the hair fibre, and encourages full, glossy hair. Allow the shampoo’s hypnotic rose scent to carry your senses away as you free congested hair.

- Thoroughly wet hair from roots to ends, then squeeze out excess water.
- Lather a quarter-size amount in hands, then part hair using fingers and apply as close to the scalp as possible.

Amazing shampoo!
I bought this because I had added a gloss on my hair (my hair turned green on holiday and I had put a gloss on top to cover it) It worked amazingly. It stripped the semi-permanent colour from my hair (as I wanted) and left my hair feeling so clean. It got rid of all product build up and my hair is so bouncy and voluminous now after being dragged down by products. I highly recommend and will be repurchasing for a bi-weekly clean.

Just for high or mid porosity hair
Thanks to this shampoo I figured out that I have low porosity hair. The shampoo left my hair incredible dry. It felt like I washed my hair with a really aggressive soap bar. So if you have low porosity fine hair have a look for a different detox shampoo. This one won't do the trick.

I started noticing problems in my hair at the start of 2020. I've always had thin hair but started experiencing hair loss in mid-2020 (I've never had covid). On top of this I have greasy hair - I'm talking my hair gets greasy every single day and I've tried training it to not be, but I've had greasy hair since the beginning of time so ruling this as genetics! After much research and many shampoos later, I decided to get the OUAI detox shampoo. My hair instantly feels clean as soon as I lather the shampoo on. When I rinse, my hair is squeaky clean. It air-dries nicely (straight) and doesn't have any frizz in it afterwards. My hair feels healthy and looks fuller. I use this shampoo once a week for a deep clean, it keeps my hair oil-free for a bit longer but the biggest difference is that it doesn't get as greasy as it used to with my everyday shampoo. I've only used this 3 times and I'm already impressed and when it finishes I will get the full size version. Probably the only shampoo I'll continue to repurchase.
