No. 3: Apply a generous amount to towel-dried hair, comb through and leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes or longer, then rinse, shampoo and condition. This is NOT a conditioning treatment to be left on the hair. The longer this is left on, the more effective it will be. This may be used more than once a week if necessary.
No.7: Remove cap. Turn the bottle upside down and gently tap the index finger on the bottom of the bottle to dispense a metered drop. Apply a small amount to damp or dry hair, style as desired. NOTE: Works on wet, damp or dry hair.

It’s olaplex can’t get any better
I absolutely love olaplex after going from black to blonde from last year even though I get olaplex in hairdressers when getting it done. I still like to use it at home as my hair hates bleach it goes stringy & breaks so easy I watched a few YouTube videos on what to do & a hairdresser recommended this & ive been using it since this is the first time I’ve bought the bonding oil (7) & it’s just as amazing as the rest I also got The choice of a free shampoo or conditioner & I went for the conditioner & I love it honestly even if I go dark again I think I would still use this . I’ve seen some reviews say that you don’t get much in the bottle but you actually don’t need that much i part my hair in 4 & coat my hands & apply then use a wide tooth comb & brush through & sometimes I leave it on 10 mins sometimes I leave it on all day & then shower it of at night & wash & conditioner it my hair is so much shinier and healthier I just can’t praise olaplex enough if you’ve tried this & you don’t see any difference please give it at least 4 goes before you give up as it took mine around a month before my hair wasn’t as tatty but it 100% works

Didn’t notice much difference for the price
I’ve used both the products a few times now but haven’t noticed a huge difference to my hair. No. 3 made my hair feel softer on the day of use but by the next day my hair felt the same as normal. I mainly brought the products to reduce frizz but I didn’t find either product helped that much. The No.7 oil is nice and light but I’d rather make do which a thicker cheaper oil, as I didn’t find much difference in effect. Overall, I will not be repurchasing.

No 7 broke my hair
I treated myself to the bonding oil to protect my hair from The heat of the hair drier. The very first time I used it, it made my long hair dry and brittle, and within a few days I had severe breakage all the way up my hair. A week later I have had to cut off about 6 inches and the rest of my hair is brittle and still breaking. I'm heartbroken. I have written to Olaplex directly. I am 59 with fine hair so perhaps it's not suitable for all hair types. Perhaps if you have thin hair you could do a strand test to avoid a hair disaster.

Yet to decide, still experimenting - the No.3 instructions to dampen hair, then apply have proven challenging with the unruly thick impenetrable mop that is my hair, so I’ve washed first, then left and washed again. Also tried leaving in after I’d washed, which had ok results, although on both occasions felt quite heavy on my hair. I usually air dry and plait to give structure and control, but it may work more magic if I straighten my hair with straighteners. The Oil is a versatile product one can use on hair or nails, it’s light, but super rich so one only needs a small amount even with my thirsty hair.

I've been a convert for Olaplex No 3 for the best part of a year now. I have dyed blonde hair which is prone to dryness and breaking (despite the care it gets) so No 3 is a godsend especially in Covid times when I couldn't get to a hairdresser for my regular cut. I decided to go for this bundle to try out the bonding oil. I will say I am not huge on the oil on it's own. I find it difficult to apply evenly. I have been adding a few drops to a John Frieda hair serum which has had a good impact on my hair. I can leave my hair down now rather than it needing to be up from looking frizzy. This is especially good as it's helped me space out mask treatments for No.3

Wonderful for split ends
