I transitioned to blonde and started using the Olaplex range. It worked great to repair my hair after the bleaching proccess. Then I saw this product and purchased it to give it a try. I shampoo my hair twice. First using the regular Olaplex shampoo to break down oils in on scalp and then I go in with this product. This way it gives it the optimal chance of working. You DO NOT need to leave this product on long. It is very strong and if you leave it on for more than a minute, you will end up with lilac pieces of hair. Or in my case, a full head of hair. This was a complete mistake and was not intended to be left on for over a minute. But, I learnt my lesson when I dried my hair and discovered I looked like a my little pony with my purple hair. It did make for some amusing conversation starters. Also, leave your conditioner on for a few minutes after using this product. Toning shampoos can be quite drying on your hair and this was does make your hair feel dry. So take care of your hair x

I bought this as an olaplex obsessed bleached blonde. Historically I’ve tried every purple shampoo on the market and found they stripped my hair making it dry and straw like. I expected this to be different but was let down. However mixed with the olaplex conditioned as part of the routine it’s okay.
