The NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Liner is an intensely pigmented eyeliner that allows you to create fine and bold lines effortlessly.
Waterproof and smudge-resistant, the liner delivers solid, matte, long-lasting colour. The slender brush tip can be controlled by simply pressing down more firmly, helping to create the perfect wing even when you’re short on time.

Apply across the lids, as close to the lash line as possible to create a fine line. Extend the line at the outer corner for a winged effect.

Smudges easily
I used to struggle with applying eyeliner until I bought this one by Nyx. The felt tip pen is so smooth and flexible that it makes application so easy despite my very tremulous hands. It is also very pigmented so you get a great wing in the first try. However, I have found that this liner invariably smudges and fades throughout the day, especially in the inner corner and outer wing where I assume it happened because of smile lines. Because of this I need to carry a mirror and this eyeliner whenever I go out so I can reapply when this happens. Even though this would be serious turn off for some, the liner is so easy to apply that I will still continue to repurchase.

Not what it was made out to be
I had high hopes after some positive reviews. However I’m not over the moon with it. If you like a drastic eyeliner look this isn’t the one. It does sit well on your standard lining/cat eye but I have hooded eyes and do a large thick flick for it to sit nicely to my eyes and it just doesn’t like to do that. You have to layer it up and it cracks and needs topping up multiple times (just whilst still getting ready) it does somewhat last the night but it’s very faded by then.
