Developed with dermatologists, the Neutrogena Clear and Defend Facial Wash is a lightweight gel cleanser that protects from blemish-causing bacteria and breakouts.
Powered by 2% salicylic acid, the foaming formula gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to encourage a visibly smooth, supple complexion. Daily dirt and product debris is effortlessly removed, while skin is left feeling refreshed and renewed post-use.
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly.

Doesn’t foam as much as other products so feel I need to use a lot more also doesn’t have a nice smell Wouldn’t buy again would stick to my own brand. Probably wouldn’t recommend #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

A nice face wash
This is a nice enough face wash, skin felt clean after use. Not sure how well it worked on breakouts, think it helped a bit but it didn’t have any impact on the hormonal monthly breakouts. I do think this would be better in summer but could potentially be a bit drying in winter. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Just average
The good thing about this face wash is that it doesn’t dry my skin out which is great. I’m not too keen on the scent though, I think it’s supposed to be citrus but it smells way more artificial and also more clinical. It says on the bottle that over 90% of people saw less spots but I didn’t notice any difference. I probably wouldn’t buy this #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic
I love this product. I was sceptical when I first received it as I thought my skin may find it too harsh, however I was pleasantly surprised! I have oily but sensitive skin. I've tried another Neutrogena face wash and the scent was not to my liking, however this is brilliant. Not too strong but enough to linger and make you feel fresh. I do genuinely feel I have noticed less spots, despite not having the healthiest few weeks and stress of wedding planning. I would buy this and I've used almost half of the bottle. Already recommended to a friend too! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Not for me
First use of this was lovely but after using it twice a day for a week my skin started to peel off :( it was so drying, despite me using a moisturiser. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this - sorry! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic face wash!
I’ve been using the Neutrogena Face Wash with 2% Salicylic Acid for a few weeks now, and I can say that I’m impressed with the results. It does a great job of keeping breakouts under control without leaving my skin overly dry. The texture is lightweight and lathers well, which makes it easy to use. It leaves a refreshing feeling post-rinse and doesn’t strip the skin of its natural moisture, which is really important to me. Love it! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

It works!
I tried this product for 4 weeks, morning and night and I am pleased to say that it works! It's great to find a product that works and does what it says it will. In that 4 weeks my spots cleared up and I had no new spots so I am very impressed. I will recommend this product to other people and I will continue to use it myself in future.

Ok product
Not my favourite product from neutrogena but does the job, a little bit too drying for my liking but cleanses well. Might work better for someone with very oily skin #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
