Developed with dermatologists, the Neutrogena Clear and Defend Facial Wash is a lightweight gel cleanser that protects from blemish-causing bacteria and breakouts.
Powered by 2% salicylic acid, the foaming formula gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to encourage a visibly smooth, supple complexion. Daily dirt and product debris is effortlessly removed, while skin is left feeling refreshed and renewed post-use.
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly.

Excellent
I received this product free of charge from home tester club in exchange for my honest review. Firstly I like having this type of packaging (bottle with pump), it's so easy to use especially under shower. One pump of it is just enough, perfect dosage. The face wash itself surprised me massively, as I wasn't expecting much of it. I couldn't be more wrong. To start with it's really gentle to the skin. Doesn't dry it at all, this wash does exact opposite! Leaving my skin soft and refreshed. This is fantastic product it really made positive changes. After using it for few weeks I've noticed that clogged pores are vanishing and my skins general appearance has improved. Also have less spots showing up and the one which do ar much smaller. Their redness is also under control. I feel better about myself now, and definitely will continue to using this product. Great job Neutrogena, well done! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Deeply cleanses without stripping
I was impressed with this product. I have oily skin and am prone to hormonal breakouts. I found that this cleanser didn’t strip my skin and react like other products have in the past. I noticed an improvement with hormonal breakouts. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Not impressed
I was expecting more tbh. My skin is no different to before I started using it..... no ill effects either but I did expect more. Clean skin but still spotty.... maybe I need to try it for longer? #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic face wash!
I've always been a fan of nutrogena products, but this time they knocked it out of the park for us fellow spottians! This face wash is ideal for those with established skin care routines. Why? Because its a little drying, but who doesn't use skin care and moisturising products these days right? So it's perfect for those who need help with spots and acne, or just makes a really good facewah for anyone. It does smell quite manly, but personally I like that.. makes me feel less single lol! I have been using it for 2 weeks, day and night, and it has definitely helped with my breakouts, I purged a little for the 1st week, so stick with it, (like all new skincare you have to try for long enough) so the shorter version.. Pros... Leaves you feeling clean, helps with spots and acne. Reasonably priced, great pump style bottle, value for money. Cons... A little drying, smells manly . All In all, a fantastic product. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Refreshing face wash
Lovely, indulgent fragrance. Great texture - not too watery and not too thick or slimy. Lathers great and leaves my skin feeling and looking soft, clean and refreshed. Has been helping to clear up breakouts without drying out my skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Smoother and clearer skin

A must for clearer skin
Even though this face wash contains salicylic acid it feels very gentle. You only need to use one pump at a time so it will last for ages and as the pump works well there is no mess or waste. The face wash lathers easily and it leaves your face feeling clean but without leaving it dried out. It rinses away easily too. Clean and defend has only a light fragrance and after a few weeks my skin is already looking clearer and it also feels less oily. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great for the whole family
This product smells lovely, fruity and fresh. It lathers up and really makes your skin feel clean and fresh, although my skin did feel a little dry after. Over the two weeks I have been using the face wash, my face has noticeably become clearer. My pre teen son has also been trying the wash as he is starting to suffer with blemishes, and I can see a reduction in his spots since using it. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clear fresh skin
