Developed with dermatologists, the Neutrogena Clear and Defend Facial Wash is a lightweight gel cleanser that protects from blemish-causing bacteria and breakouts.
Powered by 2% salicylic acid, the foaming formula gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to encourage a visibly smooth, supple complexion. Daily dirt and product debris is effortlessly removed, while skin is left feeling refreshed and renewed post-use.
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly.

Really Good
My son and I both used this, he's 12 and prone to acne and this really helped his skin look and feel so much brighter and he said he felt cleaner. We also noticed after a week his skin cleared up 70%. I have PCOS which comes with cystic acne, my face felt cleaner and less sore. We both really liked this prpduct. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clean and clear

Holy Grail
As a Skincare Content Creator I review lots of different Skincare on a daily basis. But this was my first Neutrogena product and I’m absolutely OBSESSED with it!! It has a subtle orange smell to it & is nice & thick in consistency. It lathers lovely on my skin & really gets deep into my pores. It has left my skin feeling so fresh & thoroughly cleaned, and I’ve had absolutely no breakouts at all since using it!! Great Face Wash for Blemish Prone Skin
Since using this face wash I have noticed a slight reduction in blemishes, I still get some but they haven't been as bad. I get a lot of hormonal blemishes each month and these definitely weren't as bad, no large blemishes just some small ones. It lathers well and leaves my skin clean without stripping it. I didn't like that it has fragrance in it, I feel it is unnecessary and it isn't a great fragrance. It also doesn't appear to be cruelty free which is a negative. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Not for me
Neutrogena clear and defend is a great gel type wash for really getting into your pores. It's a lightweight formula but is thorough. The gel has a light scent, although I must admit I prefer my face wash to be scentless. I have quite fussy skin that can easily be dried out, then get even more oily and unfortunately it did happen with this product. If your skin isn't as delicate as mine I'm sure you would enjoy this product. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Smooth and clear
The face wash is smooth and lovely to apply. It foams up nicely and you can feel it cleaning your face. I love that it contains salicylic acid as my oily skin really needs this.
