The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Perfect cleanser

A little strong for my skin
I recently tried the Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ Facial Wash and found it to be quite effective. The product does a remarkable job at cleaning my skin thoroughly, leaving it feeling fresh and clear. I noticed a significant reduction in breakouts after using it consistently. However, I did find the formula to be a bit too strong for my sensitive skin. After a few uses, my skin started to feel slightly irritated and dry. I would recommend this facial wash for those with less sensitive skin or those who are in need of a robust cleansing option. A little drying but nice overall
I did really enjoy using this face wash it foams up nicely the only thing I will say is it did leave my skin a little dry but it did seem clearer after a couple of weeks of use #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good ingredients
The active ingredients are great for acne and congested skin and do the job, but something about this formula does seem to dry my skin out more than alternative products. Excellent value for money though so it's definitely worth a try! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Really Clears Your Skin
This product was really good for my skin, helped clear it up really well, it was easy you use and washed off well. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact that it literally had no scent, which I'm personally not a fan of, I like scented products. Too strong, even for non-sensitive skin
I added this into my normal skincare routine, working up (as prescribed) to daily use and found that it made my skin very sensitive and made my skin sting. Following this my skin broke out and I stopped using it. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clear & defend
