Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

It is very good and does its job
I am happy with this Clear&Defend because it is one of the few that does what it says—smooth and whitish transparent serum with no fragrance that gets easily absorbed leaving skin soft like velvet. After application, I felt a stinging sensation on my face, more like freshness which I enjoyed. My skin type is a combination and didn't encounter any discomfort. It cleared my face and I noticed that some of my marks left from breakouts just started to disappear. Other products did not manage to clear my face so well, so I definitely recommend it as it is the one working properly. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Amazing product
This serum is truly a product that attacks dark marks from all angles. The salicylic acid unclogs, the glycolic and mandelic acids gently exfoliate - a real powerhouse. Does not clog up pores nor contain any harsh fragrances. Definitely recommend! #hometestersuk

Works a treat
I really liked this serum and how lightweight and none greasy it is. It quickly absorbs into the skin so your ready to go with your next step of your routine. I have been using this once a day at night and I have to say I have had fewer breakouts and any breakouts I did get vanished very quickly. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the design of the tube. Because the serum is a very runny liquid I found it came out of the tube too fast and I was using too much, especially at the start when the tube was full. You can barely hold the tube upright without the product spewing out. I personally would have preferred a pump or something more controlled. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

lovely serum
was lucky enough to be able to test out this serum with hometesterclub! The serum has been fab, very lightweight formula and have often worn this though out the day on no makeup days, can’t even feel it on my face unlike other sticky formulas. Would like to use a little longer before I comment on the impact of my skin and reduction of blemishes so i’ll carry on using! Product does have a medical sort of scent to it, to note if this would bother you but it doesn’t me!

Silky smooth skin!
I really like the feel of this serum, it's really lightweight and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. It unfortunately did bring me out in a couple of spots to begin with but I persereved and they went away within a few days. My skin is definitely looking clearer! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Works really well
This product is really affective and does what it says. It makes my skin clear and evens my skin tone and fades imperfections. The only downside is the serum has an unpleasant smell but because it’s works well it makes it worth it #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good product!
I enjoyed using this product - it reduced my break outs and also smoothed out my skin - fading some old acne marks. I think there’s better products out there in the market if you’re willing to spend good money but this is a good drugstore product.

When I first received the product - I was skeptical. I didn't like the packaging, plus I'm used to French pharmacy products more than drugstores. Turns out I love it! Great spot serum
