Introducing the Neutrogena Clear and Defend+ Exfoliator, a texture-refining-formula packed with AHA's and panthenol to support visible skin cell renewal.
The potent liquid exfoliator helps to remove dead skin cells and excess oils to promote a clean and clear complexion. Formulated with an optimal pH to maximise the efficacy, it helps to reduce the appearance of textural irregularities to leave skin feeling soft and refined, adorned with a radiant glow.

- When to Use: Apply the AHA exfoliant weekly increasing up to daily (if needed)
- Application: Use a cotton pad over dry face and neck. Allow to fully absorb into the skin. Do not rinse.
- Important: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use on irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin sensitivity to the sun. Avoid sun exposure and protect your skin from sun.

Good exfoliation for brighter skin
I previously used a glycolic acid toner so swapped it out for this one. I liked the way my skin felt when using this product and it didn't make my skin sting. My skin was generally brighter after using this. However, I have noticed a few breakouts since using it (I have not changed anything else in my skincare routine recently). I would like to continue using this product to see if this persists as it performed well. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good exfoliant
I like the product, it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. I have used a similar product previously which did not include citric acid. This addition definitely increase the effectiveness for my skin. I started off using the product once a week but have increased to two/three times a week. I would purchase this as I know being from Neutrogena it will have a fair price point. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

It’s okay!!
It’s a good toner but I have sensitive skin and it BURNS badly on some places. It smells a bit strange as well but it cleaned the dead skin off my face. It’s okay but I don’t recommend it to people with sensitive skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Does what it says on the tin!

Good product but strong!
This was a good exfoliant - I felt like it did the job and uncleared my pores and made my skin look fresher. However this is a strong product so if you have sensitive skin I would be very careful, and I wouldn’t use every day. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Slightly irritating
This liquid exfoliant feels a bit itchy when first applied and makes my face slightly red. However, it effectively removes dirt, as I can see on the cotton pad after use, which shows it’s doing its job. My face feels smoother afterward, but I can’t use it too frequently as it can be irritating. Overall, it’s an okay product with some noticeable change in texture on my face. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
