Developed with dermatologists, the Neutrogena Clear and Defend Facial Wash is a lightweight gel cleanser that protects from blemish-causing bacteria and breakouts.
Powered by 2% salicylic acid, the foaming formula gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to encourage a visibly smooth, supple complexion. Daily dirt and product debris is effortlessly removed, while skin is left feeling refreshed and renewed post-use.
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly.

Fresh and clear feeling cleanser
A lovely face wash which seems to be gentle on the skin but still leaves the skin feeling fresh and clean. A small amount of the product is needed to cover the face as it goes a long way. It is easy to to rinse of too, without leaving the skin feeling sticky or dry. I didn't notice any difference to my skin till after about 5 days but then it started to look brighter and less blemishes. I would use this product again in the future aswell as recommending to friends and family. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Face Wash
Overall I really liked this product. My face felt clean and refreshed after using it, and my blemishes reduced or went completely. The only very small negative about this product, is that it is quite runny, and usually fell off my hand before it reached my face. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Skin feels clean
I love cleansing my face with this product. My skin feels really clean after using it. The product claims to reduce outbreaks within four weeks, but after only using it for two weeks I can clearly see the results. I am blemish free and I haven’t had any breakouts (apart from a few hormonal spots, which is normal at certain times for me). The only reason I didn’t give this product 5 starts, is because I wasn’t overly keen on the smell. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Cleared my hormonal acne
This facial wash has absolutely changed the game for me. I suffer from hormonal acne and it’s normally painful but this time around I was flawless with less oiliness. I am going to stick this facial wash for the foreseeable future. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Really Good
My son and I both used this, he's 12 and prone to acne and this really helped his skin look and feel so much brighter and he said he felt cleaner. We also noticed after a week his skin cleared up 70%. I have PCOS which comes with cystic acne, my face felt cleaner and less sore. We both really liked this prpduct. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Holy Grail
As a Skincare Content Creator I review lots of different Skincare on a daily basis. But this was my first Neutrogena product and I’m absolutely OBSESSED with it!! It has a subtle orange smell to it & is nice & thick in consistency. It lathers lovely on my skin & really gets deep into my pores. It has left my skin feeling so fresh & thoroughly cleaned, and I’ve had absolutely no breakouts at all since using it!! It’s now my holy grail cleanser & I will be buying lots more when this runs out!! If your thinking of trying this then you won’t be disappointed I promise you!!! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great Face Wash for Blemish Prone Skin
Since using this face wash I have noticed a slight reduction in blemishes, I still get some but they haven't been as bad. I get a lot of hormonal blemishes each month and these definitely weren't as bad, no large blemishes just some small ones. It lathers well and leaves my skin clean without stripping it. I didn't like that it has fragrance in it, I feel it is unnecessary and it isn't a great fragrance. It also doesn't appear to be cruelty free which is a negative. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
