I don't get it
I don't get all the rave reviews. PROS: Lovely packaging. Intense colour. Easy to Apply. I got Starwoman and it really is a good strong rich red. CONS: But this is the big one - it DOES smudge, bleed and come off on my cups. I don't get what I'm doing differently. I lined and coloured in first with my MAC lipliner. Neat. Softly buffed the edges so it wasn't too sharp a line and added a slick of this stuff, not going all the way to the edge. Letting it dry. Blotting any excess off. 4 hours later and it's bled a touch. I don't get it. Sticking to my Maybelline 24 hour thing. That doesn't bleed, smudge or transfer and lasts ALL day until you're ready to take it off. For me, a waste of money, although I might use it for blusher instead. Although I've done that with so many smudgy lip products I now have enough blusher-type things to last me the next 20 years.

I purchased this in shade American Woman, as it looked an easy to wear, pink colour. From wider research online, this looked fairly neutral and pink. It has arrived today. It’s a dark purple/ pink brown. I look like a goth. What a waste of money.

Long lasting, lovely colour
I have this lipstick in the shade 'Somebody To Love'. Application can require patience as the formula is very liquidy and the doe-foot picks up a lot of it. It will very likely get on your teeth! Patient application will pay off as it will stay all day and, when it does fade, it does so really nicely, leaving a stain. The formula has a velvety finish that doesn't shrivel and pucker like other liquid lipsticks can. The shade is a velvety plum that isn't too dark and vampish on my NW20 skin.
