PERFECT AUTUMN/WINTER SHADE
The colour is a bit darker and deeper than what you see online, but it's a beautiful, rich, deep red that's perfect for the autumn. I have some of their other polishes which can get quite streaky and difficult to apply, but this applied like a dream. It almost looks like you have a gel polish on, and it dries shiny and smooth (didn't have a problem with air bubbles or anything) without a top coat. This is easily one of my favourite colours - one thin coat gives you a beautiful brick red, and a second one gives a darker burgundy colour.

Dark cherry red
Good quality nail polish in dark cherry red. Almost a one coater, but if not applied perfect, the first coat may show some streaks, so I applied a second coat.

Hmmm...
After reading recent articles about the damage regular varnish can do by essentially suffocating your nails whilst simultaneously seeping toxins into your body, I was possibly a bit too excited to try this nail varnish, in conjunction with the 2in1 base/top coat. The colour is gorgeous - a really deep red, the polish glides on easily and the brush is a good shape/size. I would say you only need 2 coats for good coverage. The only downside is it takes ages to dry. I left it (plus a lick of top coat) for over an hour and still managed to get smudges and fabric imprints over pretty much every nail. I’ll persevere, primarily because I prefer not to have formaldehyde seeping into my bloodstream, but be warned!
