Lovely set and easy to use
I have always had my nails done in a salon but recently wanted to try doing my nails at home. I purchased this kit and it's incredibly easy to use and the polish stays in tact for about a week on my fingernails and over 2 weeks on my toes. It doesn't look or feel the same as traditional gel nails (it's not as thick or as strong) but looks lovely. I ordered the kit with hortencia coloured polish and it's very natural looking.

I bought this as I’d given my nails a break from gels but wanted something a bit more long lasting than having to paint using polish weekly. The polish won’t give a gel effect but a polish effect that doesn’t chip as easily. I’ve found the brighter colours don’t last as long - I started with the red and it chipped after around a week whereas the more neutral nude or pale pink tones seem to last a bit longer on me or are less noticeable when they do chip. I was so impressed by how easily they were removed and with no damage at all to my natural nail. My nails are so much longer and stronger than after I’d had gels for a prolonged period. I’d really recommend buying this kit. The only thing is I wish it came with a few more colours to try.

Better than your average nail polish
I am admittedly terrible at doing my nails - no patience and they tend to chip within hours. Tried this for the first time and it lasted about 5-7 days before it started chipping on multiple nails, but I have to say I’m pretty impressed. Would love to try some other colours. One thing I would say is that I left the nails to dry a little longer than instructed because I don’t think they were 100% set.

This is the first time I’ve used at home gel. It takes around 20 minutes to complete a full manicure. Great colours and shine. It lasts around 6 days before it chips. I might still need more practice to perfect the application.
