Mac studio
I love this foundation. I am fan of sheer to mid coverage foundations and this one ticks all the boxes. It looks very natural like no makeup makeup. I have combination skin with dry peaches on my cheeks and quite large pores. Some foundations exaggerate all my flaws but not Mac studio. It makes my skin look almost amazing.

Agree with other reviewers. This foundation is amazing for glowy natural look with little of color. Pleasr powder your nose before leaving the house if you dont want to look like disco ball. Or apply it only on cheeks:) amazing product. Closest dupe- kanebo gel :)

I have been looking for a new foundation as my regular one was beginning to look 'cakey' and stick to my dry patches , my skin is changing following recent life changes ( age, surgery, weather etc) and I researched and researched to find something light , comfortable and along the lines of 'less is more' I truly found it in this foundation. I watched endless reviews and tutorials before it arrived and if you can't get along with it - you're not following the instructions ! . It contains a film former which you need to activate so you do really have to rub it in and it will go tacky and thicken, you can layer it and layer it some more so the bits that need extra coverage do get it without it caking. It stays on - ALL DAY ! I work 10 hour shifts and it's still there when I get home. I have skin that reacts badly to many brands and not one breakout with this foundation. I'll be purchasing the big bottle when this one runs out. To summarise, comfortable on the skin, looks fab, buildable , doesn't make dry patches stand out BUT follow the instructions !

When you hear about this foundation being second skin-like, it's not an exaggeration, it forms a film on the skin that truly mimics glowing, heathy skin. It's sheer, but it can be build up. My shade (C1) is spot-on for my light complexion with yellow undertones (I'm usually NC20); but because it's so sheer it's surely quite forgiving shade-wise. Doesn't leave the skin flat looking even when worn on its own, and any make-up applied over it goes on super easy and with no patchiness whatsoever. Make-up brushes and other products on top don't move around this foundation. There were also days when my skin was a bit flaky from tretinoin, and this wasn't accentuating it. It's a very suitable foundation for dry skin. I'm now using it almost daily for little over a month and I've never been more happier with a make-up purchase before like I am with this!

I read lots of reviews from lots pf places before tkaking the plunge and buying this. I used the MAC online chat to get the shade recommendation after uploading a photo. The shade they chose was bang on. I used my fingers to apply this as most reviews said it was the best way, applied as i would moisturiser and worked in well.. Despite having dry skin i can get a little oily in the tzone and chin. Not with this though. I stuck it on with no moisturiser or primer to see how it went and i am pretty amazed by it. The coverage is sheer which i like and i will be trying to build muliple layers at the weekend to see how that goes. It has also minimised my pores and not settled in lines. So far first impression is great.

This foundation has been my holy grail for YEARS! I have very dry skin and foundations normally settle into all my dry patches, separate and look so unflattering but this foundation does none of that. Every time I put this on I don't have to worry at all about how it's going to look on my skin, it always performs the same. It is very light weight but you can definitely build it up to a good coverage and it will still be undetectable on the skin. It has a beautiful dewy finish that makes you look so glowy and healthy! I can't live without this.
