MAC Prep + Prime Lip is a solid conditioning primer that will nourish and smooth lips before the application of lipstick. Formulated with antioxidants and emollients to hydrate and retexturise the lips, the colour-free base helps to reduce lipstick feathering whilst giving applied lipstick a professional and flawless finish. Presented in an easy to apply retractable stick form, Prep + Prime Lip is suitable for all skin types.

Apply a thin coating over entire lip area and over lip edges. Follow with lip colour.

Great Lip Primer
I've been through this primer about 3-4 times and I always go back. I love it for lip prep prior to applying lipstick and after about 10 mins my lips are soft, texture is blurred and lipstick lasts pretty well. It's not the sort of product that will give you extreme lasting power. For me that's more than fine as I always re-apply throughout the day, especially after eating.

The primer is very hydrating and it makes lipliners and lipsticks glide on smoothly but it is expensive for what it is and I have't noticed much of an extended staying power with it on vs without it. Nonetheless, very good. Worth it on sale only
