MAC Prep + Prime Lip is a solid conditioning primer that will nourish and smooth lips before the application of lipstick. Formulated with antioxidants and emollients to hydrate and retexturise the lips, the colour-free base helps to reduce lipstick feathering whilst giving applied lipstick a professional and flawless finish. Presented in an easy to apply retractable stick form, Prep + Prime Lip is suitable for all skin types.

Apply a thin coating over entire lip area and over lip edges. Follow with lip colour.

You know the scenario- you're all made up- Lip liner on - just the last step - your Lipstick - & you want a good smooth finish - not gummy or dry (this afternoon your coat of Lipcote);- so you prime with Macs Lip Primer & then perhaps a little blot & another layer - then for the Lippie - & wow - hey Preston- it glides on - & more ! ! I actually use this as a lip balm as well as a primer. It’s great paired with lipstick, but it’s also the first lip balm I’ve ever used which actually softens my dry lips and doesn’t dry them out more after use, which I find other balms do. A must have.
