I sometimes suffer from oils breaking down my foundation but this completely stops that issue in its tracks. Doesn't feel sticky on the skin and leaves a lovely base. Highly recommend, I will be using it for my wedding. But remember to shake it first!

White spots left on face (would not recommend)
I accidentally bought this instead of the normal one, my fault for not paying attention but I thought id give it a go, I looked it up on the site first before using it as id never seen this one before and as I said I didn't mean to add that one to the basket, I noticed people saying it doesn't leave marks if it is shaken well, so I shook it before using it as others said and held it from a decent distance away and white spots still appeared on my face once the product had dried, ruined my makeup completely! I would recommend sticking to the original one or one that doesn't have the white misty water that leaves these marks, it does mattify the face but that's no good when it's left the makeup looking a mess with spots.

Could not recommend this enough. Ignore the people talking about white spots - it’s really simple, follow the instructions. Give the bottle a good shake before use, that’s it. As someone who was constantly using blotting papers as soon as a half hour after applying my make up this is my new holy grail. If you have doubts or the bad reviews making you second get this, all I can say is just try it. It’s worth it

Not too pleased
I’ve been using the Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ setting spray for many years and it’s always been my go to along with the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray and I’ve recently purchased the mattifying version of the Mac spray to try it out. My first experience using it wasn’t too pleasuring, first of all the smell really puts me off using it and second of all I sprayed it all over my face as I normally would and it left me with white dots all over my face! Which then resulted in me having to take my make up off completely and re do it. I mean the original one is a lot better, I think this definitely does give you that Matt finish, however I’m scared to use it now as I’m worried it’ll leave white dots all over my face and the smell is horrendous. Very chemical/plastic like hard to explain. Won’t be buying again
