Providing a botanical alternative to retinol, Liz Earle’s Superskin Alt-Retinol Skin Paste promotes a refined complexion. Designed to reveal a brighter and smoother-looking complexion overnight, the formula imbues skin with a youthful-looking radiance.
Helping to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores, the paste is enriched with Bidens pilosa. A powerful, plant-based alternative to retinol, this multi-benefit ingredient offers the same visible smoothing effect, whilst being gentler on the skin. Kigelia fruit extract and shea butter condition the skin to help lock in moisture for up to 48 hours, whilst hyaluronic acid draws in moisture, plumping the complexion with hydration. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, the paste helps to transform the appearance of the skin with continued use.
- Use in the evening 2-3 times a week.
- Apply a thin layer onto your face, avoiding the eye area – the correct amount should leave you with a temporary golden glow, before it sinks into your skin.
- Leave on overnight.

Nourishing product that smoothens skin
I do find my skin feels more soft and looks smoother in the morning after applying this in the evenings. I still need to give it some time to assess long term benefits, but so far so good!

Can't recommend enough!
Having found other retinols to be quite heavy on my skin I was really excited to try this botanical version and it did not disappoint! MY skin was left feeling super soft and had visibly improved the appearance of fine lines around my eye area. My skin was left looking really plump and hydrated - everyone must try this!
