Not as good as K18
I was really excited to try this product. I followed the instructions exactly, and although my dried hair, to be fair, looks “undamaged” - there’s no real shine - if anything it feels a bit poofy and dull and not super-soft. It wasn’t easy getting the tangle teezer through to distribute it. By comparison, I was totally blown away by K18, which the brush glided through like butter and left my hair looking the best it’s ever looked with the best shine ever! My hair is bleached and heat-damaged. With K18 you don’t use conditioner but you do with LP- so even with a conditioner, LP was not as good. With K18 I didn’t need any other product to make my hair look and feel amazing. So compared to K18; LP is a no for me. I used the same silicone free shampoo before both products for a fair comparison. I’ll try Living Proof again with a “better” shampoo and conditioner combo before hand and I’ll add some leave in product now, to see if that sparkles up my hair a bit. I would say LP result is similar to Olaplex 3 - but after O3 it was easier to get a drying brush through, though. Overall my hair “looked” better after using the 3 step L’Oréal bond citric acid range than I have now with LP.

Saved my bleach damaged hair!
After trying numerous expensive products aimed at bond repair - I can say this is one of the best I’ve tried. Other expensive products do work, however they are such a faff and you have to follow very particular instructions. With the living proof triple bond complex, you don’t have to alter your normal shower routine to make this product work & that is what’s so amazing. Since using this I have notified a significant improvement in my hair health, without the faff of other high end brands!

Triple Bond complex
The last treatment to lighten my hair dried them out a lot, they were very rough to the touch, they looked terrible, no moisturising conditioners helped until I bought this one, after the first use I felt a slight improvement, so despite the manufacturer's recommendations to use it once a week, I use it after every hair wash and their condition has improved dramatically.

I am extremely well experienced with bond builders having repeatedly damaged and regrown my hair! I love olaplex, elasticizer and k18. I bought this after going from dark to blonde and seeing huge damage to the front of my hair. After three uses I don’t feel any difference, and my hair still looks frazzled. Not a bad product but do I feel some cheaper products are better eg elasticizer. Will persevere however.
