Reimagining and reformulating a cult classic, the Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur from Laura Mercier is enhanced with ultra-blurring powder pigments.
Delivering up to 16 hours of weightless wear, the finely milled powder veils the complexion in a soft-matte finish, capturing the illusion of flawless skin. The powder utilises amino acids and silica powders to refine the appearance of imperfections and control shine for an airbrushed, soft-focus effect. Arriving in three shades, the non-drying powder locks in makeup for long-lasting wear, taking your look from day to night.
To achieve the Flawless Face, saturate the Velour Puff with Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur, working powder into puff by folding and rubbing the halves together. Tap off excess. Press puff onto skin using a rolling motion to set makeup. The finishing step to achieving Laura’s iconic Flawless Face, pair with your favorite Pure Canvas Primer and Laura Mercier Foundation or Tinted Moisturizer for her signature No Makeup, Makeup look. I absolutely love this product! I use it with the LM foundation and it looks flawless when on. I use a large powderpuff to apply it and it really locks in the makeup. I never need to use a setting spray anymore - highly recommend The only thing worth knowing is it works a bit TOO good - taking it off can be tricky but using an oat balm cleanser does the job perfectly!

Setting powder

Really disappointing powder
I was so excited to buy this, I'd read so many wonderful reviews full of praise. I'm 51 with barely any wrinkles I do have some redness. After applying my usual foundation my skin looked good. I was hoping this powder would be the icing on the cake but no. It immediately gave me dark circles, made my skin look dull and older !! I applied it as instructed with the velour puff bought separately at a cost. I even tried it with a brush, both sparingly. It also smells weird and is very yellow (this is the palest not the honey version) To top it all it's broken me out !! Also absolutely no blurring effect in fact the opposite. I will stick to my usual cheaper powder, at a fraction of the cost. You live and learn.
