As a wearer of it back in the 90’s I had to buy this! Doesn’t have the same smell but still smell ok, looks fab on the lips, on its own or over the top of lipstick & lasts quite well for a gloss. The reason for 4 stars is because it’s hard to apply perfectly directly from the tube, need to use finger or brush to make it look good enough.

I bought this mainly because it was the first fancy makeup item I owned as a teenager when these were first popular. Owning one felt very grownup and special. It's exactly as I remembered- old-school thick, goopy, sticky and sparkly lipgloss. If you don't like sticky lipgloss, steer clear! However, the tackiness does mean it lasts on the lips for a good bit longer than a lot of modern gloss formulas that feel more like a balm or an oil. It also smells delicious and sweet- for those of us who remember these from the first time round, it's a hit of nostalgia. But if you are allergic to scented makeup or prefer unscented products, you might not like this.
