Powered by a new multi-patented Melasyl™ active and 10% niacinamide (vitamin B3), the serum helps to brighten and correct the appearance of hyperpigmentation and even the most persistent dark spots, while reducing the formation of future discolouration. The ultra-lightweight gel-serum texture also includes retinol, hyaluronic acid and LHA to promote gentle exfoliation and hydration for a radiant result.

Thankful for having the chance to trial!
I receive this free from influenster to trial in exchange for my honest feedback and I'm glad I had the chance to try it! Although personally it didn't work for me.. It made my skin feel like it was burning but I did try it a few times regardless! Texture is nice though, doesn't feel greasy like some facial serums and the bottle is convenient as it comes with 2 lids, a normal one and a dropper. I may have sensitive skin compared to others so I would definitely recommend trying it out anyway as the brand overall seems good! I will be gifting the rest of the bottle to my mum to trial and reveiw :)

Great anti dark spot serum
I received this La Roche-Posay MELA B3 anti dark spot serum from Influenster free of charge in exchange for my honest review. The bottle comes with a dropper which is great so you can get exactly the amount you need and not use too much. The serum is a pink colour and it is subtly fragranced, quite a refreshing smell to it. The texture is fairly light and gel like so when applied to the skin it absorbs very quickly. There is no stickiness or greasiness, my skin feels very soft and smooth after use. I have been using this serum for a couple of weeks and my skin is definitely showing signs of improvement. The tone is more even and signs of pigmentation are looking reduced. I have been using this with the matching day cream with SPF30 (also received free from Influenster) and I think this has definitely helped with the improvement I am already seeing. This serum has delivered good results in a short space of tome and given that you only need a small amount this bottle should last a while. This serum is very innovative with ingredients such as 10% Niacinamide, vitamin B3 and a new active called Melasyl. This ingredient intercepts excess melanin before it affects the skin. This means that it can correct existing dark spots as well as preventing new spots. I would definitely recommend this serum and day cream combination, it delivers good results in a short space of time and is a great innovation in skincare.

Reduces blemishes
I have been using this product for several weeks now and wanted to make sure I’d seen the results before leaving my honest review. As someone prone to blemishes, this product came at the perfect time. I’ve already experienced the effectiveness of La Roche-Posay products but was pleasantly surprised when this one also started doing its magic. This serum is easily applied and absorbs into the skin rather quickly. I first had to get used to the smell but once you’re passed that, it’s an easy add to your daily skincare. From the first day until today (which has been over a month now) I’ve definitely seen a significant reduction in blemishes, which I really appreciate. I was able to paire the serum with the Mela B3 SPF30, which has also been a great addition to keep my face moisturised and protected from the sun. Another great product from La Roche-Posay.

Soft & bright skin results
I’ve been using this serum for around 3 weeks now and have noticed that my skin seems a lot brighter and softer, it’s not greasy and soaks in really quickly, it doesn’t have a strong scent. It arrived in a nicely presented box, it is a higher end serum that I would probably pay for but it’s seems worth investing in.

Gentle but effective
Gentle on the skin, I definitely see a difference in my hyperpigmentation, it's now and integral part of my routine and I though I received it for free to review, I will be buying it in the future.

Hydrating but not sticky
This was a lovely serum, packaged beautifully with dropper to add to the top. It felt great on my skin, light weight not greasy, sticky or tacky. Dark spots were slightly improved although this, I’m sure will be more apparent after prolonged use. Skin feels hydrated and nourished after however I have several serums of better effect so will not repurchase..

Good product
I've been using this product for a good few weeks now, increasing usage weekly as I've never used Niacinamide before. I've recently had Impetigo which has left dark scarring around my face, the Mela B3 Serum has helped reduce the dark spots over time, the texture is gel like, non sticky & absorbs well. It's a good size bottle with a pipette applicator so no waste of product, tiny bit goes a long way. Overall it's a good product but there is a slight smell that I don't like so for the price I wouldn't buy again as I have a sensitivity to smells.

Not quite what I was expecting
I do have some discolouration on my skin around my cheeks and eyes. I unfortunately didn’t think these products were able to improve these issues for me. I’ve used it twice daily since I received up until the last week, and while my skin was left feeling nice and smooth, I have some dry skin on my forehead that I needed to use a different product to tackle.

Easy to use, slight improvement of my dark spots but needs more time to use
I found this serum quite nice. I have been using it for a while now and it leaves my skin nice and subtle but to be honest I haven't seen a lot improvement from my dark spots. They are getting slightly lighter, but maybe mine are too deep and I need a bit more time. The dropper bottle is easy to use. I like that it comes with an normal top and I was able to use screw the dropper part on myself. The serum is light but left my skin smooth and not tight at all.

The Mela B3 Serum is amazing. It’s a very lightweight texture and very easy to apply on the skin. It has a slight pleasant scent. I have noticed and improvement on my skin. Definitely worth the money.
