Developed for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ seeks to clarify and hydrate for up to 24 hours while providing visible results in just eight hours. The dual-action daily gel helps to minimise the appearance of imperfections, dark spots and discolouration, alongside diminishing the look of excess sebum for a more mattified finish.
Fortified with salicylic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the moisturiser provides a gentle micro-exfoliation, helping to decongest pores and promote smoother-looking skin. The formula is supported by niacinamide and zinc PCA, lending brightening and hydrating benefits, alongside encouraging a unified tone and texture. Mannose locks in moisture to help encourage a visibly smoother surface. An advanced phylobioma active ingredient tops the composition to protect from excess sebum and future breakouts, balancing the complexion and layering well with makeup to leave the skin feeling purified and nourished.

Really does unblock pores!
I have combination skin, and while I don't have very obvious skin problems, I do have some bumps on my forehead and blackheads on my nose like everyone else. After using this cream once to twice a day for several days, I began noticing that bits of dirty stuff have been coming out of my pores and a week later the bumps on my forehead are almost completely gone! Also I find that the blackheads on my nose are not as stubborn as before but I cannot be sure if this is due to the cream. I will definitely be finishing this and buying again.

I've been suffering from acne for years and tried many many products. This is a great makeup base, it makes your skin smooth and refined. After only a couple of days of using this cream morning and evening, I have noticed that red marks are greatly reduced and my skin's texture improved. Best for combination skin
I have combination to oily skin with occasional breaks outs and lots of freckles/pigmentation. This has been the only product that I have tried (in conjunction with biores charcoal cleansing wash) that ever helps my skin during bad skin weeks. It calms redness within around three days and greatly improved the texture of my skin. I highly recommend this product for people with combination and textures skin. Can't be without it now.
